Whilst using photoshop, I wanted to experiment in seeing how the forms would look piled together. Below shows the result of this, however I am not too keen on this because it looks unnatural to me. There is more purity and simplicity in folding, adjusting and perfecting the forms by hand. So, baring this in mind I decided not to go crazy with photoshopping all of my photographs in a repeat style, as this is what I was never aiming for.
I have used photoshop to perfect the image, to make it visually pleasing to look at whilst still remaining simple. It is all about the form of the structure and the running line.
In some cases it is about creating new imagery from the particular way the folds and creases meet.
These next few images show the forms positioned in a tighter shape but with no linking line or imagery this time. I found this fascinating to create because it is so rich in texture.
I am going to continue folded more of these. I find that quantity is the key.
